*Whew!* I don't think many plushies have taken me as much work to do as this one. The real killer here was the mane and tail. Man, they were hard to design and put together! But I was really, really trying to not go short on quality here. I really love Sunset Shimmer's character design, and I wanted to do proper justice to her mane. I ended up trying a couple of experimental methods to get the shape right, and then tried something new involving stuffing the mane with sheet foam with floral wire running through to give it a rigid, resilient shape that's not fluffy and floppy or flat like things I've done before. And amazingly, it worked on the first try! If I ever come back to making plushies in the future, I'm definitely making Rarity with that method, because I'm super satisfied with how this girl came out. Definitely one of my favorite plushies I've ever done.
