First-of-the-Line Dashie

So you know how I sort of disappeared for a couple of weeks after I said I finished the Mark V pattern and I'd get right back to commissions? Well, I was sort of unsatisfied with how I left the pattern that I decided to do a buttload of testing and trial and error to get everything looking just right. And Now I think I'm finally satisfied! (For now, anyway.)

We'll call the bald Octavia and Rarity already up here coming from pattern Mark V Beta.

So I have here an experimental test Rainbow Dash, where I was trying out a bunch of new things before doing them in people's commissions, so I guess I'll call her Special Edition? Mainly because there are a couple of things I probably won't do regularly.

The eyes and cutie marks are hand-painted with acrylic and fabric paints, and coated with a layer of sparkly clear fabric paint. I took several days on the head as well, so that's basically perfected as much as I can get it now, and I made a pattern for a new standard mane. I also touched up the roundness and detail of the hip and leg, as well as the hiney detail.
